Nintendo Wii Golf Charity Tournament Competitor Rules for Fair Play

1. All competitors will read the rules of the event and agree to them prior to playing their round.

2. All competitors must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the event if they are already familiar with the game. IF NOT FAMILIAR with the game, they should arrive 30 minutes early for instructions on how to play. Competitors will not be given practice swings when the official event starts. Failure to arrive on time will result in the participant’s session being disqualified. This is very important since the event is being operated on a strict schedule.

3. All competitors must play using the Nintendo Wii Controller wrist strap provided at the time of the match. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

4. Every competitor will play the same NINE (9) holes of Nintendo Wii Golf.

5. If there is any disruption of the game, the hole will be restarted & all following holes will be played as normal. This does not include a competitor restarting or resetting the system. Only a judge may restart a hole or reset a system.

6. Score cards will be kept by the judges at each game station. When participants finish their game, they must verify that the scoring card is accurate and sign it.

7. Once a score card is signed, it is considered indisputable and will count as the final score of the participant. It will then be placed in the possession of the event manager, who will secure all score cards for a final tally of the winners at the conclusion of the event.

8. Due to the possibility of ties, each competitor with the best score of their scheduled time will take THREE (3) Longest Drive swings. The average of these swings will be used to determine the overall winners in the event of a tie. The distance of those swings will be entered on the score card and initialed by the competitor.

9. The SEVEN (7) best (lowest) scores for the event will be named the winners by the event manager and contacted immediately.  FIVE (5) will be named the GRAND PRIZE winners and TWO (2) will receive the RUNNER-UP PRIZE.  THREE (3) GRAND PRIZE winners will be selected from a RANDOM DRAWING.  The RUNNER-UP PRIZE winners are eligible for the drawing but must forfeit their winnings to upgrade to the GRAND PRIZE. If the winner(s) cannot be contacted within THREE (3) hours of the end of the event, the next best score will be chosen as the winner. If the newly selected winner(s) cannot be reached, then the next best score will be selected until ALL winners are confirmed.

10. Participants agree that, should any unforeseen event occur that is not covered in these rules, the event manager will rule on the matter, referring to  these rules as the guidelines.

11. The event manager’s ruling is final.
